Banker & Tradesman highlights "nation's first green modular school building"
April 30, 2007 — "Paving the Way for Tomorrow: Applying Sustainability to Schools" in the Commercial Real Estate monthly section of of Banker & Tradesman highlights The Carroll School classroom as "the nation's first green modular school building." The 950-square foot Triumph SmartSpace structure is featured as an example of how sustainable design can be applied to school buildings as well as a variety of projects.
Cliff Cort, president of Triumph SmartSpace is quoted in the article as saying, "The versatility of the design is such that the size and layout of the unit can be modified for a wide range of practical uses — from temporary office and healthcare facilities, retail stores, restaurants, storage and warehouses to permanent multistory buildings."
